What’s next for Everton’s Romelu Lukaku?
With Everton set to face Barcelona on Saturday, Romelul Lukaku is expected to be fit for Saturday’s clash with Barcelona, with the Blues’ manager Roberto Martinez revealing that the 22-year-old is not 100% yet.
“He’s still getting back in his own groove and getting used to a new game,” Martinez told BBC Sport’s Everton blog.
“It’s a bit of a learning process, I think.
He’ll have to get used to the pressure of the first match, of course.”
I’m really excited about him and we’re all going to be looking forward to seeing what he can do.
“We’ve had some great performances this season and we want to keep going, but we have to start from the beginning.”
Lukaku, who was a surprise selection for Everton in the Premier League last season, scored twice in his debut league game in January but only started a further six league matches, before suffering a knee injury in February and missing the rest of the campaign.
Everton won the title, the FA Cup and the League Cup before losing the FA cup final at Anfield.
