Here’s what to do when you’re heading to the NHL’s ‘get together’ event, get together
Get a head start on planning your get together!
NHL.com has compiled a handy checklist to help you make sure you can make it to your favorite NHL arena, game and other special events.
Here are a few tips to help:1.
Check out the full list of NHL games at your favorite team’s home games.
This is a good time to check out which games are on the big screen, where the scores are being posted, when you can watch the games on TV or listen to the game on your phone.2.
Get to know the venue, even if you haven’t been to the venue.
It will help you plan what you want to do, such as checking out the music, restaurants and bars, and where to buy a beer.3.
Be prepared to be late.
Most venues will have some sort of shuttle service.
This means you’ll be able to go out on the street and have a seat by yourself at some point during the game.
If you plan on arriving early, however, you’ll want to plan to get there early for all of the big events.4.
The schedule of each game can vary from one night to the next, so check with your team to make sure that you have the most up-to-date information.5.
Know your team.
The teams that you know best are the ones you’ll see playing, as these teams are known for their passion for the game of hockey.6.
Know the crowd.
There are some good spots in the stands to watch a game, and if you have a good group of friends, you can get the best seats for the night.7.
Be sure to bring a map of the venue to your destination.
If there are any obstacles in the way of your vehicle, there is a better chance that you’ll have to leave your vehicle.8.
If it’s a weekend, be sure to get a good map for your car.
You might have a few options if you’re not sure where you’ll park.9.
If a member of the crowd is yelling at you, or if they don’t like your choices of music, you have no idea what’s going to happen next.
The same goes for the other patrons, who might not have your best interests at heart.10.
You don’t need a ticket.
The most important thing is to be prepared to show up, to get your ticket, and to have your seat, which is a guarantee that you won’t be disappointed.11.
This will be a long process, but it’s one that will pay off in the end.
You’ll be excited to watch the action, but there’s also the chance that something will go wrong, which can make the night even better.
